Presentations:
In addition to psychotherapy, I am always interested in doing workshops and seminars on a variety of topics such as stress management, healthy living skills, mindfulness, ecopsychology, or sustainable living. I see these presentations as a public service, and I will provide them to interested groups for little or no fee. If you think your company, non-profit organization, faith community, or student group might enjoy hosting a presentation and discussion, please feel free to contact me!
For professionals, I also offer presentations on setting up a paperless office from scratch, focusing primarily on the potential benefits, challenges, and pitfalls. I have done this presentation for small groups, departments, and at the OPA 2009 Annual Conference. For an overview of relevant topics, take a look at this article:
Noethe, J. B. (2007, September/October). Creating the (Almost) Paperless Office. The Oregon Psychologist, 26(5), 24-25.
Finally, I make myself available as a professional resource on any topic that relates to my areas of expertise. For example, in November 2008, I was interviewed for a special KGW Channel 8 news segment on election stress (see below). I have also been interviewed for several print articles on a variety of topics.
